Norah Nakidde

My name is Nakidde Norah. I am a 22 year old student at Makerere University School of Law awaiting admission to the bar course at the Law Development Centre. I am a volunteer at the Public Interest Law Clinic at Makerere University which provides legal services to the underprivileged through community outreaches, prison visits and public interest litigation. I am passionate about technology and the law and how technology can be used to promote social justice and alternative dispute resolution. I am also passionate about the arts especially poetry which I believe can be used as a tool for sensitization of the youth concerning social and political issues in the community and even globally. I was recently the head of production of a poetry show at Makerere University centered around mental health issues among the youth. This is because I believe that global peace begins with inner peace.
