Peace Kuteesa is the co-founder and COO of Zimba Women, a East African company based in Kampala, Uganda that provides tools and technology platforms, business training, and mentorship to improve the livelihoods for women-led SME’s enabling them to manage and scale their businesses more professionally. Zimba Women seeks to establish a business environment that provides full support of women entrepreneurs using technology currently working with over 1000 female entrepreneurs from the East African region (Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda). Zimba Women also runs a girls in STEM mentorship program.
Peace has worked on several technical and operations projects for local and international organizations like The U.S Mission in Uganda, the World Bank and the United Nations for the last 10 years.
Peace is a Computer Engineer with a Master of Business Administration in IT Management, working at the integration of cybersecurity, internet safety and the inclusion of ICT in business.
A Certified Information Systems Security professional, Peace is a member of the International
Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals, a 2017 Young Achievers Awards Uganda Winner and A Women4Women Awards Uganda winner. www.zimbawomen.org
